Default My formal introduction (finally)

Hi everyone..
I bought my 96 coupe last year and have been lurking here ever since.
However, I never introduced myself. Hopefully it's better late than never.
I have met a couple of members here and I am in the San Diego region.
This year is my first year participating in AX and I still have much to learn
from everyone here who are much more knowledgeable.
I guess an introduction isnt complete without pics. Here ya go..

Welcome aboard. You've obviously been paying attention as you posted pics. How about some details?

Other than Fister stage3 mufflers, the car is bone stock. I want it to remain that way (hopefully)
until the end of the year. The reason is I am competing in the street stock class and would be bumped to a higher class if I were to mod the car. Besides, the best way to make a car go fast safely is to improve the skills of the driver. I am just trying to get as much seat time as possible before I totally go down the slope.

Cheers
Alex

Sounds like a great plan and that you have your priorities in order.
Congrats on your car and your competing!

Welcome! It's always good to see a 993 out stretching it's legs so to speak. One thing to note, if you're racing SCCA rules and I'm reading your car correctly you ran novice super stock (SS), classing should be A stock (AS) which will help your PAX position
