Default 1997 PORSCHE 993 TURBO X50

Never heard of this: http://www.rpmsportscars.com/door28.htm

Sweet sport seats to go with a sweet price.

Edit - I am not seeing the factory X50 in the certificate of authenticity - maybe that's why I have never heard of a 993T X50.

X50 is a 996 TT Option AFAIK, not 993.

Sweet car, sweet wheels, sweet price. Couple things though. I don't see "X50" on the COA. I also thought that X50 was a ROW option only, first with 430BHP and later with 450BHP. I thought the only US/Canadian TTs with more than standard HP were the 182 S models of 97 (424SAEHP, same as the first ROW X50).

EDIT: Sunroof delete & rear seat delete! Can a Canadian citizen apply for TARP money?

Yes, that is the point of my post - news to me too. I suspect Ray is being a salesman here.

X50 was a factory option for ROW TTs from very late 95/early 96 onwards.

Ray....sweet father of Porsche, Ray! if you are really into selling this fine auto...why replaced the wheels and steering wheel. I mean the original Turbo wheels, and original 4 spoke steering, wud've given that sweet thing, great appeal to collectors, but 3 spoke 996/Boxster steering, and BBS..!?? Think you are getting tired of the old biz.... Cheerio... ;-)

That is a great looking 993!

X50 is, without any doubt, a 993 code for an option:

"X50 - 321 kW (430hp) engine upgrade for the 993TT"

according to the Option Code table I have. However, I believe that this option provides 450hp instead of what is in the table.

As in my earlier post, X50 "powerkit" was originally 430BHP when first made available late 95/early96 (ROW only). This was later upped to 450BHP sometime during 97 while still, I believe, using the same "X50" option code. But then again, I could be wrong.
