This thread reminded me of the time I was in San Francisco and saw a sign on the marque for the Radisson Hotel that stated "Black Porsche Club" meeting there. I thought, wow! You have to have a BLACK Porsche to be a member of that exclusive club!

Okay I will share a picture, she isn't the best shape right now. Currently undergoing brake caliper repaint (to red) and new suspension.

One always wants what one doesn't have. I've been drooling over white, Guards Red, Speed Yellow, Arena Red, both silvers, Slate grey, the list goes on. The thing I've re-learned after owning my Midnight Blue & Black 993s is that dark colours are a major PITA to keep looking good. My friend Doug and myself recently went for a nice drive, him in his Arctic Silver C2S, me in the black 97, and the difference was amazing. Although both cars were equally dirty, only my car looked it from more than a few feet away.
