96 black c2
Blacks are beauties, but tough to keep clean (black & tan 96 C2). Anyone have any cleaning solutions that keep blacks better cleaned?

Awesome, when I get my new baby shined I will post her. Just curious how many on this thread with all orig paint (I assume not so many), and can you achieve that gorgeous consistent finish if, say, just front hood and fenders sprayed for rock chips? Any complete paint jobs in here? Where did you have done? Thanks.... (p.s. glad I got a black-on-black)...

Since I track my car I've had the front bumper and hood re-sprayed. What I highly reccommend for protection is the 3M film installed by the 3M guys (they are the best). After I did my bumper and hood re-spray, I did my whole hood and bumper in 3M film and I can't even tell its on the hood. If you only do 1/2 the hood, you can see the line of plastic across the front. The bumper, due to all the curves, you can see some of the small plastic lines, but you have to look really hard. If your a councourse kinda guy, you might consider not doing the bumper - however that is really the portion that needs it most since it gets a majority of the fine particle sand blasting as you drive.

My 1997 993 C4S, recently purchased. Gambella side skirts and GT2 wing. Full black leather interior with red piping in the seats. Full carbon fiber interior. Highly upgraded suspension. RS motor and transmission mounts, RS strut brace, Wevo engine brace, monoballs, etc. Its a blast to drive!

Silver Surfer you're C4S is my favorite color combo, the stance is perfect along with the best wing imo for our cars. I just can't seem to find one FS, probably won't unless someone sells one for a good price even with damage, I wouldn't mind since I would do the body and paint work myself but, for now I'll be rockin' my RS spoiler.
I would love to see a few pics of your CF interior too, I need some ideas to help give my interior some more style. I have yet to install my GR painted 996TT seats but, was able to source a set of red seatbelts in the meantime.
Tomorrow the coupe is getting corner balanced. With the PSS10's and RS swaybars shes sitting at approximately the same ride height as your C4S.
Enjoy, these two week old pics represent the factory 993 ride height but, I couldnt be happier with the Blistein/RS setup so far. The car is so planted, literally on rails I love it!
sidenote: i've since fixed the curb rash, fully repolished the lips with my mini buffer and repainted the spokes a different color coming soon to this thread stay tuned.

For black, I have found nothing better to give a DEEP BLACK, nice clean shine than the Klasse "all in one" cleaner/protectant.. I usually follow this up with a nice carnuba paste wax.

I love my 96 black 993 but agree it's really tough to keep clean. I've been using Meguiar's Gold Class car wash and Meguiar's Gold Class Carnuba wax. I think I'll give Klasse "all in one" a try based upon the positive experiences by you and Kika. I see there's also a "High Gloss Sealant Glaze" which can follow the "all in one" application.
The other day my neighbor across the street told me to stop rubbing my car... it's starting to get weird.
