Default Another 2 stupid questions for the ages, but I need to ask...

1) I just received my DME relay, where do I replace it, in the front relay/fuse box or in the back one?
2) I'm trying to disconnect the spoiler relay (I placed a new fixed rear wing) and when I get under the dash, I cannot see whether these connectors should be just pulled apart, or something has to be unscrewed or I should pry something out of something else. I cannot believe I do what I do for a living and cannot get this right!!!

I will really appreciate the tips.

DME - front relay box, just match it up with the existing one. The box close to the windshield.
Look on the passenger side, low down ..no prying it's visible..raise the edge of the carpeting up..rem to put the connecting ends for the motor in a ziplog bag...

Default Thank you TT, do I pull the black plastic end right off or...

should I pry off any winglets? Do I have to unscrew that nut on the metal band?
Thank you again and please, forgive my ignorance, but I'm the kind that will force it until it breaks if it doesn't come easy.

Hey Twinreds, every time I see one of your posts I just can't stop staring at your 964 Turbo. That is just beautiful!

You can remove the screw to take the spoiler module out to disconnect the connector, makes it easier to disconnect. But I do recommend you put the control module back in just without connecting it back. Because years down the road when you want to go back, or sell the car you will have a hard time finding the module if you store it somewhere else.

It's a 1989 930. Thank you for the compliments. In my opinion, it is Porsche the way it was meant to be.

Default Maybe, but this is REALLY old school, 993's are a fair amount more civilized

[I'm sure a 993tt, last of the air cooled turbo family, can sway you]
