FYI there are some knock-off switches out there that do not last nor are they worth the minimal effort to install. Total POS. Again, FYI.

Some of their other items looked a bit suspect. Couldn't tell on the switches.

I'll let you know how it holds up. It will be the main driver's window switch. $16 bucks vs. $50 at the dealer..... it's a good gamble.

I have had 2 OEM passenger side switches fail in the 7.5 years I have owned the car. I'm have been running one of these ebay specials for the last 6 months. The plastic and finish does not match the original. The $50 dealer price is absurd. I wish my car had hand cranks and the rears pivoted out like the "classics".

I think I got my last switch at AutohausAZ.com , cheaper than dealer and held up so far. I think they also came in Porsche bags (can't rely on my memory though, and that was a year ago).

Edit: Just checked, on AutohausAZ.com p/n 9646136210001C is $14.70 ea. right now.

If concerned about texture matching get 2 (or 3) replace them all and save the good ones as backups.

Do these D.parts pieces have the Porsche part #'s on them or are they knock offs Chuck?

I had one of my OEM switches replaced with one of these from this same Ebay vendor a couple of years ago. The plastic finish and hue is not quite the same as the OEM so you can tell the difference if you install it next to the OEM one at the driver's door. Also, the mechanism is obviously not the same and it "clicks" differently.

I don't know if I had a lemon, but it was on my car for 4-5 months until it broke. I bit the bullet and bought the one for the dealer.

Got one window switch from Autohaus Az two years ago; so far so good!

I just replaced them all... I got a bunch of $12 Ebay ones a while back (would bet they are the same.. ).. no issues so far..

No they don't. They have them listed as OEM, but I don't think so.

I just received 3 of the 964-613-621-00 "Ebay"switches on Friday from EuroAsiana Auto Parts in Purchase NY. Limited communication, but fast shipping, BTW. I installed one on the passenger side yesterday. Took about one minute. They appear to be made by a German OE "Supplier" named Hamburg-Tecnic. No promise of actually being "made" in Germany...but wouldn't that be a dirty trick?

There is no part number screened on the side (left) or any other identifying numbers anywhere. Compared to the factory part (right), the biggest difference I noticed was that the tolerances between the lever and the body were a little larger, but still acceptable to my eyes. The contact pins seemed a bit more thin and squared off at the tips, but they did click into the connector solidly. The function seems equally crisp. The texture is a little smoother, but inoffensive.

The autohausaz versions seem to be made by another German OEM (or marketer) Uro Parts.
