Default How do you fill in the rear bumperette space?

If I remove the rear bumperettes, is there a plate or insert available to fill in the space????

2 choices:
1. Euro rear bumper
2. Send your bumperettes to Eric at Bumperplugs.com (he's the DaVinci of Porsche paint) and he'll paint them to match.

FWIW, I went with option 2.

I never heard of anyone investing further in their bumperettes. Do you happen to have a pic?

I painted mine:

But I'll be removing them for a tire trailer hitch. My plan is to cut out the excess area and put a screen under it.

Filling th holes is a customizing process. Here is a link to how the fronts are filled. You could apply a similar technique to the rear:

You will need to cut off the bumper reinforcement first and then you can fill the hole with plastic filler.

+1 on Painted

BTW pewter82, where in MidMo are you? Given the fact that last time I lived in Columbia (2000-2004) there were no paint shops in the area that used actual Porsche paint, you might be best served using Bumperplugs as suggested above.

Painting just about anything seems to be $300 by the time they remove it, prep it, paint it, clean up and install.

$24 - One can of primer, color and clear. I already had the sandpaper.

But I don't care if my white does not match perfectly (it does not). I think you can get pretty close with a can of color from paintscratch.com or one of those places.
