Looking for a car cover

As the title says, I'm looking for a car cover for a 993 with a RS tail. Anyone have any suggestions where to look?

Does it need to be specific to an RS or will a cover for a normal tail work?

You will need a custom cover made, Griot's Garage does them, but there not cheap.

you can order an RS cover from Sunset Porsche in Oregon.
Porsche makes pretty specific covers by model.
The cover for my 993tt was about $265

I bought mine from costco.com but I have a standard body. I am pretty sure you could pick from a few body styles. Cheap at $88 on sale and fits great.

Great idea.... I ordered one from them this morning. There is a real store not more than a mile from my house in case it doesn't fit and I can always go for the more expensive one at the Porsche dealer.

I did something similar. Local auto parts store. Under a $100.

I bought a generic/universal car cover, still made with tyvek, but bought the next size up from what was recommended on the box. My car is parked indoors and I basically just needed it as a dust cover and the larger car cover covers the entire car all the way down to the ground which is great at preventing dust from coming up the sides of the car cover.

My other car is parked in an outdoor lot and I bought a custom car cover for that one instead because the custom fit prevents the car cover from blowing off the car when its windy out.

I have purchased many car covers for the 356s, 993s, RSA, etc. from these guys. They are excellent:

Buy from Gert at Carnewal - it is an indoor only cover, but is very nice microfiber and fits like a glove. I have one for my 96 C4S - and have the turbo tail.

I bought from Pelican Parts. Cover fits great.

If someone else is looking for one of our car covers, I have a silver grey cover in stock for a 993 with fixed rear spoiler.
It new, has a big Porsche crest on the hood, mirror pockets and comes in a storage bag.
Normal price : 275 Euro shipping to the US included.
Yours for 240 Euro.

I have the one from Gert... and it's awesome! I've had it for about 3 years now and it has held up very well.
