Default They're here.......Stage III

Well, those of you that know me, know that I can't leave well enough alone. After going to ALMS at Laguna Seca recently, I got inspired to do a muffler mod that has a very aggressive/loud/mean tone, beyond what I had done before. I had a prototype muffler I have been working on, and yesterday, I made the final revision.
Here is the result. These mufflers are seriously aggressive, but have no resonance or drone. They are really quite pleasant in the cabin, but outside sound as though all hell is breaking loose!
Here is the video:

Fister Stage III

Roche will be receiving this set in the near future, and I will have to do another set for my car........I love them!

Sounds pretty mean! Does this mean you will have your current stage 2's for sale or is this a further mod done to a muffler that had already been taken to "stage II"?

My Stage IIs from my car are the originals, and I think I will hang on to them. Stage III is a completely new design. No external modifications at all (Stage I and II have external bypass). All internal. very clean and mean.

Nice Darin. How do they compare to supercups from the outside?

I have not had supercups for while now, so it's hard to say. These are loud, but I do not think they are quite as loud outside, and the tone is different....supercups have that "V8" hotrod sound, while these sound very tight and raw. Now inside, there is no comparison. These do not resonate or drone.

Can you modify your previous bypass models to incorporate the stage III?

Too Cool Great work, Darin.

Can this mod be done to RSRs? If so, I may very well be interested. I also wish for an agressive sound... We'll see what the RSRs sound like with DACH's SportCats first... But, I like it loud!

Hi Darin,

They sound great! Are you still running a standard cat? They remind me of my RSR + 100 cell sport cat combo.

Cheers,

David
