well, if it isn't someone stole his avatar pic! The one with the seat back is his shot, I think.

Good grief. Someone needs to buy that thing and put some miles on it.

Assuming the car is in Coppel, TX, which is next door to Dallas, why does the seller show the car being off-loaded from a car carrier? Is that another of Jonathan's old pics?

Wow. Hi everyone.

Sold the car several weeks back to a local collector. He owns a Saleen S7, Carrera GT, and other high end cars...we did the car deal through Lamborghini Dallas and I got to see the S7 on a lift...amazing car.

I was floored when Patrick sent me an email that it was on EBay. This was news to me. I just left a message with the guy inquiring why selling so fast. The car is perfect and depending on how he set the reserve, maybe someone will get a "deal". My guess is that he is flipping to do something different...he had indicated being on the fence about buying a 993 Turbo S...maybe this car put him over the edge.

If I learn more, I will post here...

nah... I have really enjoyed a couple 993s over the last few years, but I want to take my turn with a high standards early 911...

I will say that this red car is absolutely perfect. I have no knowledge of/relationship with this seller and why he is selling...but this car is showroom new and mechanically perfect. Jeff Lee at Boardwalk Porsche, who has always worked on my 993s, says its probably the best one he has ever serviced (drives strong, bone dry, etc.)

As a standing offer, if any Rennlister wants to bid/buy this car and is seeking more info, just PM me or contact Jeff at Boardwalk directly.

It is a little painful to see it on EBay...I would love to still love to have it in my garage. In a different market/economy, maybe I would have it AND the early 911, but not prudent for me right now...even buying back at a discount.

Just stay away from the '89 Speedsters....They are hard enough to find as it is.

by the way, just to confirm... every single one of those pictures is from my original ad/emails, so dont worry about the car carrier part...
