Default Price check: 18" hollow spokes

I have a set in very good condition, with Michelin Pilot sport tire mounted. Lots of tread left on the tires. I will likely list them in a week or so. How much should I ask?

Get a tread depth gauge for exact measurement on tires though....folks around here want to know that stuff.

$1500 to $1800

$900-$1200 no/bald tires

Wide or narrow body offsets? You have one car of each in your sig. I'd say widebodies are more valuable.

When you determine a price, I might be interested in them if they're for a NB. Thank you.

I sold my imperfect (somewhat rashed) WB 993 hollows with useable PS2s for ~$1,200, but this was a "quick, easy" sale.

I got you beat.
I did an even trade of my 17" cups for 18" NarrowBody Twists Hollowspokes. The guy wanted 17" cups, so it was a win/win. I wouldn't expect this deal to come around again for another 200 years or so though....

Hey Bill,

I don't mean to hijack this thread, but do you know how to tell the difference between solid spoke twists and hollow spoke twists?

I purchased my 993 with 18" twists and partial documentation, which doesn't include paperwork for these wheels (window sticker shows 17" Cup Design wheels as an option).

TIA,
Gary

Bill, have you determined an asking price or are you looking for bids?

Look at the pics I just posted. The back of the spokes should look like mine (smooth with no ridges or valleys).

If they look like this, they are not hollow spokes:

I will set a price when I get back in two weeks. In the meantime, if anyone wants to PM me with an offer, please feel free to. If there is a reasonable offer, I will just sell to that person when I get back.
