Default Question after changing track pads

Hi all, just put in new hawk blues last night in anticapation of De in Putnam next week.
noticed after changing front pads on one of the front wheels that after i put the tires back on and spun the wheel there was some slight grinding noise almost as if something was rubbing.wheel still spun but there was noise ...is this normal what might i have screwwed up and what should i look for ....have not noticed that ever before ,removed the wheel and looked at the calipers and all looked okay put wheel back on and there is still a light grinding noise when spining the wheel any ideas.......this is the third time i have changed my pads myself and i am a little paranoid, ( this is a major diy for someone with my limited mechanical talents) prefer to not go to thre dealer to have them check it out and looking for a little asssitance from this great esteemed resource arena

thanks on advance

That is normal, Dennis. The pads are trying to bed into the rotors. Hawk Blues have very good rotor "cleaning" powers.

All normal. Drive the car and bed-in the pads and all will be well.

Default Mark and Bull thanks for the response

I was getting paranoid in my old age and had assumed that the wheels should have spun cleanly ...thanks again !!!!!
