How is the sound inside the car with your your setup? Is there any droning? I would like a nice sound but do not want any dron in the car especially at freeway cruising speeds. Your input would be much appreciated.

The sound is great, not loud more deep and throaty, makes our air cooled sound even better.
There is no drone, drone usually comes from mufflers not cats.
Do it.
