OK the 1995 cab I just bought has the:

CR-1 (radio) with the CDC-1 (CD changer) setup.

The question I have is, it a direct plug and play to upgrade to a CR-210 that I have sitting in the garage? Also, if the CR-210 is a direct replacement will it work with the CDC-1 changer that is precsently hooked up to the CR-1?

If it helps the car was produced in 05-94 (eary build)

I tried to do the same thing the CR-1 has a different connection than the CDR-210. Don't cut the wires I hate that! Try to find an adapter that fits your new radio, try SW Stereo they have them. Also, are you going to sell your CR-1 if so I pick it up from you.

I will call them. I will let you know on the stereo once I get it installed. probably will be in month or so. I have a lot of work to do on the car.

Yes direct plug and play but you'll have to splice a trigger for the night illumination.
