Invitation to drive the Mercedes SLR Mclaren at The Quail
 

Well as many of you know my Rare Factory BMW 2002 was accepted to "The Quail,A Motorsports Gathering"on August 15th in Carmel.
Well I got my packet on Saturday and in it was a invitation from AMG Mercedes who is the Title Sponser to Drive four of there Top of the Line cars with Tommy Kendall 20 Minutes in each car.With this and the 25th anniversary of the 959,should be the largest gathering of 959's ever.Should be alot of fun

I'll be at Quail....congrats on getting your car in. Best event now all weekend....I think even better than Pebble as crowd is limited and you can actually see the cars!

"The Quail" has become the hardest ticket in town to get to get as they only sell 3000 spectator tickets and only 120 cars are invited
