Hi Scott, when I had the new factory wing painted a couple weeks ago, I also had the deck lid painted. So of course I stripped the deck lid before taking it to the body shop. I decided to just put a new Carrera emblem on for now. I may add the RS badge again, but not sure yet. Hope we can have another get together at Darin's over the winter....Paul

Finally got around to scanning these (crappy) pics. The midnight blue and purple (can't remember the exact colour, same as Barney) cars were at AFN Porsche Chiswick, Nov.5th 1995. The red RS/CS was at the factory a couple days later. There were close to a dozen RS cars in various states of completion during this time, all Clubsports. One car I didn't photograph as it went speeding by was a SY GT2. Too bad picture taking was strictly forbidden inside the gates (many sightings of Boxster parts) as I ran into the GT2 again. Sorry for the poor quality.

Late to the thread but attached are photos of my 993 with RS upgrades. I race I stock in PCA as a 993 RS.
I set track records at Road Atlanta (2007) & Barber (2006 & 2007); broken this year by Karl Poeltl. I still hold the class record Mid- Ohio & Barry Ellis (former owner) still holds the record at Sebring.
This car is a blast to drive. The engine is freshly-rebuilt, new tranny; new suspension. I am selling the car. Please contact me if you are interested in a fully-developed, wickidly fast 993.

As far as folklore goes, we are led to belive 7 CS were supplied to the UK, of which 5 remain!
cheers!
