After a hippo sat on my end yesterday (https://rennlist.com/forums/993-forum/438939-argh-someone-sat-on-my-hood.html) this comes as a perfect time.

Please count me in as well.

When we reach 30 interested members we will extend a 30% discount.
This reduces 996,997 and Cayman(S) Schild liners to $139.30 from orig. $199
The same discount will be extended for all Boxster, $299 to $209. (1997-2008)- and 911 models $169 to $118. (1974-1998)

Das Schild lid liners protect your 911, Boxster and Cayman trunk lids from damage caused by oversized and misplaced cargo. Here are a few recent quotes from our customers.

“Installed in two minutes and a perfect fit. Thanks!”
“Just installed mine. Perfect fit & match. Thanks!”
“This really is a brilliant product that could easily pass for OEM.”
“This should be OEM--suggest they offer Porsche a group buy...
“I second that!”
“As many others have noted, this is a very well made product and a snap to install (pun intended).”
“Outstanding product, easy installation, thanks again! What a great value!”

Visit http://www.dasschild.com/testimonials.htm for more info.

On July 7th we will adjust our prices online to reflect the discount at which time you will be asked to supply your username to order(S&H is $21.95 for US & Canada, $39 for Int'l). We look forward to any questions or concerns and are glad to be back as a sponsor-We will be monitoring all applicable boards as frequently as possible. Thank you! Enjoy the holiday-made in the US
Jim, I haven't seen a post like this on the 911 or 964 board (maybe I missed it?), but that might be worthwhile. Looks like it's the same part, and that might really add to the group buy momentum.

Some answers:
The liner for the 911('74-'98) comes in at 4.3lbs
They attach w/ nylon clips into existing bracing slots-NO DRILLING

I recently had a minor crease repaired from where the previous owner closed the lid on something. It was minor, but the cost to repair is was more than the product that would have prevented it. So, count me in !

Well, since my wife is driving the blue cab... ah... probably a good idea. One less thing for me to worry about.

I will take one also.
