Black Bart - The process has begun
 

Since the last post I just showed the car at the shop with work waiting to begin. Just to refresh what I am doing the bumper and the hood are being stripped and painted. No damage, just the usual sandblast and rock chips of a 12 year old 75K 993. As usual the license plate mounting holes are being filled. The lower valance is bieng removed, filled and primed to get rid of the scrapes that always happen. The hood was stripped to bare metal, sealed and primed. I like stripping the hood because the finished results are so much better, especially on a black car that shows everything. Enjoy the pics. The parts should be ready for paint on Friday or Monday.

I actually had to do a search for "Bart" to see if there were any updates. I'm surprised there are no replies to this thread.

Nonetheless, I love seeing what you do, Mike.

Ah, I see now... there are 2 threads on Bart.

I coulda sworn I had replied on the update thread... and I had. For second I thought I was even more senile than I normally am. :eek:
