Ok I get it... I am now in the hands of professional .... hammerheads.
Thanks for the info and Sorry for the ignorant question. So heres another... the C4 or C2 are not widebodies?

Wow. That's a good question. I'm surprised no one has asked it before.

;)

Welcome to Rennlist! Tons of threads in the archives on this subject. Brew a pot of coffee and dive in; you'll learn a lot.

Good luck.

IMHO (since you asked :) ) NoCal is not enough rain to justify the added weight, complexity, and maintenace of a C4. Get the 2S if you're looking for extra-widebody stance. But also keep in mind that the standard C2 width is approx that of the 930, so relative to the pre-964s, it already IS a "widebody." Not to detract from the C2S or C4S, but the extrawide rear doesn't look as well proportioned to my eyes ...again, my opinion since you asked :)

Loopster, on behalf of Rennlist I apologize for the smart-aleck responses you've gotten so far. You see, the question is asked so often that we have a hard time summoning the energy to address it.

That said, I'll give it a shot.

Nah, I'm too tired right now.

Can't go wrong, but the C2S has a few more things going for it IMO (especially as a non-daily driver), including--

* Slightly more rare (1752 C2S's imported v. 2327 C4S's).
* Cool cosmetic features including split rear grill, special grained leather on dash and doors, alu shifter, handbrake and door sills, Carrera S logo on tachometer.

That said, if you are going to drive it in bad weather (or maybe even as a daily driver), there is a lot to be said for having the 4 wheel drive.

In the end, I'd probably go for the best example I could find, whether it be a 2S or a 4S.
