Default I'm stoked,My car just got accepted!!!!!

I just received notice that my BMW Factory 2002 Turbo just got accepted to the pretigous MotorSports Gathering in August called " The Quail" in Carmel Valley.
This is the hardest Ticket in town to get during "Car Week" here in the Carmel/Monterey area.Spectator tickets are $250 and they are sold out.
This is going to be a Special event as they are Celebrating the 25th Aniversity of the Porsche 959
There will also be I think about 50 BMW Z8's there as well from all over the US
Rumor has it that two of the most well known people in the US may be there as well with there 959's.Can't wait!!!

Congratulations on your car’s acceptance to The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering 2008! We are thrilled to have an exceedingly exclusive collection of cars on display and thank you for sharing your passion to make this event what it is today.

Mike,

The display at Quail Lodge is more prestigeous than the show at Pebble Beach, so you must be proud. Great job.

When is the event exactly. I think it's usually on a Friday. Also, being sold out, can you bring in your friends. If yes, can I tag along, with my humble little black Porsche?

I have posted a few before ,but here are a couple more. These factory Turbo's were never imported to the US. 1 of 188 Pruduced in 1975.Unrestored.Not a show car but pretty original.2 Rare factory options.13/6 Mahle Wheels and a 5 Speed Close Ratio gearbox.A blast to drive hard

Mike,

I did catch that. But to see the 959, all I have to do is go see Bruce Canepa's shop. The Quail is a much more stirring collection of fine cars at their best.

So I can't spell"Anniversary".Yea Canepa's is nice and I have seen fifteen 959's there at one time, but two of the most Famous 959's owners in the US may be at "The Quail"
