I will call and let you know... I'm thinking 9 ish or earlier... as it will take about an hour (following RUFUS) from Mckinney to MSR.

RUFUS is the key. It would take us mere mortals 2 hours to get from McKinney to MSR.

Yes, we'll be at RUF from 11:30 to whenever. Adrienne will be at MSR doing a DE so, I thought it would be nice to get Pong and Steve up early in the morning and go say hi to Adrienne. Dan and Marvin (since they're near MSR) will be there to meet us and drive to RUF together.

I'm trying to sort some details out... if I were to fly in, what would be the best day to do so? Also what Dallas airport do I book and could I get someone to pick me (and maybe my brother) up from the airport?

You have to fly in to DFW (the big airport) from CA unless you want make multiple stops on Southwest and come into Love Field.

I emailed the organizer and he told me the last run session for me ends at 3:45. So, I'll either have to skip the last session of the day (which I have never done, but there are extenuating circumstances here) or I'll meet y'all for dinner.
