Sorry to hear this sad news, a great loss to the world of Porsche and the automotive world at large. I've always loved his articles in R&T and read The Porsche 911 Story many times while developing my love for the car.

His knowledge of the 911 was truly amazing and I truly enjoyed "The 911 Story." He will be missed!

Sad news. Road and Track was the first car magazine I ever bought, at about age 7 or 8, and he was a frequent and admired contributor.

What a great life he lived. Give me a contract to check out at 90 having the life experiences he had and I'll sign on the dotted line in a second. Wow.....
