Try a search with the spelling 'Fikse'

As I recall, this was talked about a lot years ago

Dave,
Shoot a PM to Mark in Baltimore. He may be a strange guy, but he's an authority on Fikse wheels...

Fikse's manufacturing facility is in Kent, WA just southeast of Seattle. They've hosted the local PCA group at their facilities. It rather nice having them so close. Here is their website: http://www.fikse.com contact them directly with any fitment questions, and from what I understand, you can purchase directly from them.

Just found out today that Fikse is releasing a new wheel... actually saw the prototype at Dougherty's this morning. It's a one-piece forged wheel, very similar in appearance to the FM10.

The wheel manufacturer has nothing to do with correct offset.

For 8 and 10 inch wheels, you want ET52 front, ET65 rear on a narrow body. Additionally (and somebody please correct me if I'm wrong) but if you go a bit wider, like 8.5 fronts, you still want the same offsets if your goal is to get the fattest possible tire under there.

Glen - any idea on price? Oh scratch that, it must be this. Will probably run >$1000 for 18" wheels when they're released. Dang I wish we had more wheel choices like everyone else does.

Those fronts won't fit well. You want ET52mm, so it'll stick out 10mm. Plus they're wide wheels so that'll make it even tougher to avoid rubbing.

Rears aren't quite as bad. You'll probably be fine with 265 tires, as long as you're not really really low.

Here is what I have for my Fikses:

51mm front, 63mm rear. 8x18 and 10x18. Not sure what the offsets are for 8.5, which is the ideal width. If you find used wheels, you should contact Fikse directly, for they will have the final word.

Any pics? Would there being any advantage having a one piece over the 3 piece wheel. Doesn't Fiske have a strong fixit policy? Just curious..
