Is this BS?
"...the air filter is placed in direct air stream for cooler intake temperatures. Cooler air = MORE POWER. Cone filters have superior air flow characteristics as compared to flat panel filters. The cone filter better structures the air as it enters through the filter and the additional intake length and shape of this system further increases air flow for smoother straighter more formed air."

The best intake setup is when you have a cone filter stuck way out in the airflow, attached to an icemaker (to ensure the coldest possible intake temps), topped off with one of those Vortex propeller things that swirls the intake charge. When you put it all together it's like a 60% power increase.

I'm only the messenger, and cannot be held responsible for the benefits of my revolutionary system -- things like 1) guaranteed podium finishes, 2) burnouts in 6th gear, 3) increased sexual opportunities with grid girls.

Let's just not suggest that Democrats have a monopoly on lying.
Sorry for the rant, no more from me on this.

I've posted about this quite alot, and I don't see how that Carbon Fiber air box is going to be better than a drilled or Motorsound set up. I drilled out my stock AB and have been very impressed and satisfied with the results.

On my 03 Infinity G35 Coupe, I had a AEM cold air intake put on that put the cone filter element outside the engine compartment just behind the lower front bumper. This did help significantly. As for a rear engined Porsche, I'm not sure it would be as beneficial.
