Default My DIY M030/Bilstein results

Hi guys,
Here are the photos I promised. The install was broken up over several nights due to late working hours and going to the field. I have yet to get it alligned, but it tracks pretty well. I'm sure I will experience accelerated tire wear if I wait too long. I'll be overseas for a month and away from the car for as long, so I wanted to post these photos and tell you all thank you once again.

Talk to you soon,
Doug

Looks great. Amazing how the new stance transforms the look of the car.

Red is a great color for these cars, heck any 911. Great work!

Are you sure your car didn't automatically lower when you changed from Virginia plates to California ones? Sure looks that way to me!

While we are waxing ov er this (I just did same for my 97 C2 Cab, and it is tranformational, particularly against 50k mile OEM shocks). I am interested in the group's experience with leaving the 20/17 mm sway bars on the car or going the extra mile to get the M030 (and US sports supnsion) sways which are 22/20. With the grip of modern tires (even with 17" wheels) the bigger sway bars make sense to reduce lean on high speed corners and also to reduce understeer since the differntial F to R is less. The diff is of course to the square of the diameter, so it is substabtial on paper. Comments?

Thanks Mark. I'm headed to Korea but will be back in Iraq this summer. (I should establish residency there

I'm wondering the same. I held off due to costs, but am open to it in the future. I still have to install Chris Walrods's bushings too... does the slope have a gradual end, or is it a cliff?

Thanks for all of the great compliments guys. I love this place!
