Sorry guys. Did not see that my images were too large so they did not post. I will try and reduce them and post at a latter date. Not my area of expertise so if anyone can assist in their posting I would appreciate it.

I have a few obsessions:

1. Family - 2 kids (with another on the way)

2. Cars - Particularly at the track or anything resembling pushing the limits. Includes a 993 (Of course), an M5, A lifted built Grand Cherokee, and an Acura TL.

3. Watches - I have 12 currently but always looking for more. 2 Pannies, 1 Breitling, 1972 Rolex Great White Sea Dweller, a Marathon (Military watch), 2 pocketwatches (Including a 1915 South Bend that was my Great Grandfathers daily carry), A Seiko Orange Monster, etc etc etc...

4. Travel - recent trips include England, Kauai, Mexico, etc. Planning for Italy, Germany and China soon.

Thats all I can think of off hand, those seem to keep me pretty busy

993MAN,
And here I thought I was the only odd ball running Martin Logan's with Rotel :-)
I have to say.. love the Porsche's , as I absolutely love things that perform! I haven't stepped into the hi-fi arena with vinyl, but I kinda compare that to not having a Ferrari..like Robin. BTW...Robin, its cool to see that you are a audiophile also :-)

However, when ever I get the performance itch when I'm not in the P-Car, I always find myself reaching for the volume control. Especially when Pink Floyd is loaded up, and linked via optical to these things! Wow.. It's like being right there!

Anyway, its great to see other p-car fans fascinated with things in common.

Jerry - is that your King Air? Very cool either way - I love those planes. Great planes for the midwest, especially if you enjoy skiing.

Charlie B. No, I wish!!!!! It was the company plane of my flight instructor and friend. I had a few hours in it and even got to sit in the left seat a couple of times and landed it once in Denver. It was so much more fun to fly than the Cessna 152 that I got my license in. Have not been at the controls for over two years. I've even let my medical expire. One day soon I will take it up again. Porsches have supplied my need for speed for the last 2 years. :burnout:

Or lots of us who never saw the thread way back when........................

For me, track/racing/instructing go way beyond anything specific to a 993 (or even Porsches). Outside of cars, skiing (big time this season again, including boarding) and golf. Lot of time and opportunity to travel, too. Would be nice to have a profitable business of some sort again I could also enjoy as a hobby, but I fear those days are past for Californians.

It's the 993 f/b the 911 SC. Then its the house, circa 1845. It is very well built, actually overbuilt compared to homes today, but it does like to be maintained. Fresh coat of paint coming this spring. Quahogging in the summer. Skiing in the winter. VAcationing in New Hampshire. A very understanding wife and 3 shih tzus. Hopefully I will soon be replacing the Fj40 that I sold last winter. I maybe more obsessed with FJ's than Porsches. What wonderful trucks they are. Fun, and tougher than anything ever made.
