Poll: How do you pronounce Porsche?

If it was to be pronounced PORSHA, they would have spelled it Porsha, or Portia. Not Porsche.
In England it's obviously pronounced PORSH, as the sche is pronounced as in the English version of "schedule". Therefore, in the USA it should be pronounced PORSK, from the US "skeduall".

A while back, in a German courtroom a man caaled Mr. Piëch (at least I think it was him) was being interviewed by the Prosecuters office in the case of the people vs. VW group on account of some alleged slush fund involving union reps being bribed with expensive trips, wimmins and booze. Equally allegedly, the prosecuter repeatedly pronounced Lamborghini wrongly.
Mr. Piëch (who knows a thing or two about Porsches) said to the man something along the lines of : 'anyone who plonks down 250.000 Euro's for a Lamborghini can pronounce the name however they like. People who can only talk about them can at least pronounce the name correctly.
Mine's a Porker.

I once had a similar conversation with David Bowie, whose (fake) name is pronounced several different ways. He didn't care how it was pronounced. It was more important that people were talking about him, period.

Come on Mark, you know Ferrari is THE ENEMY. Just ask Jorg Bergmeister...
you seen the new M3 for the ALMS GT2 class ? One riced-out looking car but you
know Dr. Thiessen and Charlie Lamm feel they have unfinished business in the ALMS. At least this one is based on a real M3 and not a rules loophole like the '01 M3 GTR. Porsche AND Ferrari better watch out, that car's gonna be good, but I still hate BMW (had an E46 M3 with fried connecting rod bearings before I met you when I had my 996 C4S. BMW's "customer service" (boy is that a loose usage of the term) chased me right into a Porsche showroom.....
