Default WTB: Ruf Spoiler Module

Just thought I'd try my luck...If anyone is interested in selling theirs, I'm an eager buyer!

I inquired to Ruf and found out that it extends at 75 which I wanted but retracts at 45 which I don't. If that is the case it would be going up and down more than it already does!

Ummmmm.....no

I have one, and the retract is at something like 20mph. It is great.

EDIT: OK, I recognize that the RUF site/catalog says retract at 70kmh, which IS about 43mph, but mine doesn't retract until I am much slower than that. Maybe the delay before the retract is longer than a stock unit, so the effect is that it stays up more, or maybe mine is calibrated a bit differently, but in any case, it works well, and I am happy. It WAS a bit pricey, and would be worse now with declining $$ value.

I even called and talked to someone at Ruf and they confirmed this. Bummer.

I love my RUF module and agree with Avenger....it comes down at much slower speeds. That being said, if I had to do it again, I would very seriously consider this:

I tried removing the two pins per Garrett's post, and for some reason I keep blowing fuses when I try to manually lower the spoiler. My spoiler can go up and down literally 7-10 times during my six mile commute to work. Kind of annoying.

If you can find it and are willing to pay....the RUF module is something that you will not regret getting.

I guess we need to bug the person that modified the stock unit to extend at 75 and come back down at 5 or whatever the factory setting is.
