Default Rennline Pedal set - 4 piece - Rubber grip

I think I've narrowed down my search for a nice Pedal Set to this 4 piece from Rennline. I'm just about to place the order.
Any issues I should be aware of?

Thanks

I've had both perforated and rubber-inserts in prior p-cars. Unless you ever drive bare-foot, I much perfer the grip and feel of the perforated pedals. Also, remember to purchase the throttle exentsions and throttle lifter plate.

What does the dead pedal screw into? Do you need to drill holes for it? Just curious ....

I've had the set with the rubber grips from Rennline for about 2 years & really like it.

Based on what I've read so far on Rennlist and living on the "Wet-Coast" I think it's imperative to go with these perforated pedals.

That is an awesome looking pedal set. Looks like they offer a super throw down throttle pedal also.

Need to drill 1/8" holes. I installed mine with two screws- one on the farthest point on the left and the other on the (almost) deepest part of the side. Even after drilling the holes, one can't see them upon removing the pedal as the carpet quickly takes up that space.

Tips- Don't even bother trying to drill a hole smaller than 1/8" as the 1/8" hole is already VERY snug. Also, be sure to locate the pedal as far to the left as practical as there isn't alot of room to spare for your feet between it and the clutch pedal. (Use the carpenter's rule- "Measure twice, cut once".)

What's the reasoning for this? (honest question)

Well Jeff - apparently the perforated design offers better grip when wet.
I thought the ones with the rubber grip would be better but I've yet to read a post to support that thought......

That's the best looking pedal set. You should buy the track mats too. I have them on my car if you want to see them first.
