LOL...Too funny!!!

My wife always says that you must own a pinky ring, a gold chain and a hair piece to own a Corvette.

Let's not forget the well known fact that ALL Covette owners own a Water Bed and proudly wear gold jewelry to show off their white-hair chests.

I had a brief girlfriend in college that had one back in the 80's. The only way that I could sleep on it was after I had a few drinks. So, I began drinking every night, and she kicked me out after a month... No more waterbeds for me!

it was a GF that trained me on those as well.. since you are a local ATL guy perhaps you remember the Kelly and Cohen chain of waterbed stores..

I met this girl at Godfather's pizza on Memorial drive in 1980 ( I was a freshman at GT) and she told me "she had a new waterbed and wanted to teach me a new trick"

simple concept.. like a rodeo.. as she bucked down.. I bucked up..

Ahhh... good times...

LOL...sounds like the same girlfriend. I was living in Memorial drive in 1980 as well. Ramblewood apartments actually.

Eventually I got tired of having to sleep on the floor after the rodeo ride.

how funny... there is more to the story above but suffice it to say that there is a reason why apartment complexes wont allow waterbeds on anythign but the ground floor!

In Forsyth county (John's creek area) now so perhaps we will see you on the road cheers

Tell me about it. That thing was heavy even with no water in it.

I'm in the new city of Johns Creek now. Zip code still Alpharetta. So, I'll be on the lookout for you.
