To own/drive a "vette' you need a black silk shirt unbuttoned showing off the hairy chest and the requisite gold chain.

A friend of mine had a license plate frame that read "We brake for Corvettes". The year was 1987, the car was a "Darth Vader" Buick Grand National. It was supposed to mean that Corvettes were.....

Then there was this movie.....
