Help finding part number
Hi
I am trying to find a part number for a cable clip, its not the usual clip that has holes in and pushes onto the threaded bars sticking out of the body work...this is like a hook and it also pushes onto the threaded bar..I trashed them when I removed them from my car and now I cant find them in the PET.
oh ,forgot to say, they hold the pvc coated loom that runs under the passenger rear footwell and out to the engine bar via a large rubber grommit.
anyone have a clue?
thanks
Lee

Hello Lee,
How's the weather in Bristol?
For all the electrical switches in the 993, there is one solution.
I do not know what kind of PET you have, but I am talking of the factory PC installed PET.
You go to Porsche 911 Carrera 2/4 and click,
Then choose any year, 89-94
Click on Main group 9 Electrical equipment
Click on central electrical equipment
On the PET top middle window, click on pg fwd arrow
get pass the battery, car electric looms etc, 5 to 6 pages later
you then have several pages of ALL porsche electric connectors with ref numbers.
PET reference:
911c2 ----- 94 -------9---------02----------illustration: 902-50 until 902.66
best regards mate

Hi Geo and thanks!! I never thought to look in the 964 PET, and you are correct it has all the electrical connectors listed which well help me no-end in another project on the car, unfortunatley I could not find a reference to a 'hook' style cable clamp...am I blind?
hehe the weather here in Bristol UK is raining, but what else would you expect from the uk?
Thanks again for your help
cheers

I am still having trouble finding this part so I borrowed a picture from another thread by Dom Plumley, hope he does not mind!
anyway, it's the clips holding the left most cable that runs from the (I think) Alarm/Central Locking control box up past the transmission tunnel and up under the dash.
Anyone have a clue?
Cheers
