Mark,

That is an outstanding job. The center console is as it should be. I have had mine done in leather with the exception of the tray under the ebrake. After going to an RS interior the crappy standard plastic center console was so jarring I could not stand it. And Porsche continue with it. I recently looked at a 997 GT3 and its center console is not much of a visual improvement on the 993's. Congratulations.

I used a micro tip black Sharpie on my 944 aluminum shift patter insert, it has the same recessed pattern as yours. It worked and looks great, going on two years now.

Glen.... you you... NON-purist!

Targatango, thanks and your project looks incredible. I love that color.
Gregeast, thanks. I think I will give the sharpie a shot since that is 3 votes for it.

I have a 4 spoke wheel style. Do you think it would worth to get recover in Alcantara? To be honest I like the 3 spoke wheel very much but my budget is tight right now, I can't afford to buy complete 3 spoke steering wheel and airbag and then have it recovered. It looks so good with Alcantara. Thank you for great pictures Mark, I like your interior matching.

Is it worth it? Well, I think so but that is a personal choice.
You might want to contact Dallas Custom Steering Wheels. He has had a 4 spoke Alcantara covered wheel for sale on ebay for some time now. Might be willing to make a deal. Then you can sell your current.
Just an idea.
Or see what the cost is to do yours.
