You don't have stripes on your car like that one, do you?

flatsixforme 01-18-2008 06:16 PM

That's so nice of them...but I didn't know your gas tank was in the rear? Is that some special race setup you have :)

flatsixforme 01-18-2008 06:17 PM

Oh and what size Fuchs do you think those are...maybe 13's if their lucky

Slow Guy 01-18-2008 06:23 PM

I've noticed that for awhile on our local Kangaroo gas stations. Thing is I won't use that brand gas in the 993.

fast_freddy 01-18-2008 06:23 PM

Thats an older 911 oil filler cap they're mistakingly putting gas into.

me either.......I was in the work vehicle :)

1pcarnut 01-18-2008 07:12 PM

Not only that, but they moved the oil filler to the wrong side of the car!

Gino993 01-18-2008 07:17 PM

That looks like a 996 to me :icon107:

What's the brand Chris ? I recall seeing that one time at a local station when I was filling the Cooper. I only use Shell or Texaco (in this part of the state, Texaco = "the Chevron formulation" because it contains techroline, no Chevron stations in these parts but when I have access to it that's what I use)

993inNC 01-18-2008 08:14 PM

It was a Kangaroo, which I normally wouldn't use (heard bad things about their gas), but I was in an area of Exxon (which I make an effort to boycott if at all possible) and Citgo (also not high on the list) and at 12 mpg and the gas light on.......you do what you have to :D

And behind the rear wheel! I've actually done a couple of '72 engines because of gas dilution...........
