Default Anyone use Redline Oil 75W90 NS in thier transmission?

I just got off the phone with Redline Oil. They recommended their 75W90 NS oil for the G50/G96 transaxle.

Anyone tried this? Results?

Thanks

Andy

75W90 NS
This GL-5-type geal oil doesn't contain the friction modifiers for limited-slip hypoid differentials. This makes the transmission synchronizers come to equal speeds more quickly, allowing faster shifting and much easier low-temperature shifting. Can also be used in racing limited-slip differentials where weak spring design causes too much wheel spin.

I tried it and the fluid didn't do too well for me during winter time, after trying several fluids the last fluid I tried was thr Mobil 1 Delvac which I was completely satisfied with the result.

FWIW...the shop I use only puts the redline in...I just put it in last weekend and have not noticed anything different positive or negative, which I guess is good because it shifted/ran good before.

I have the same results as flatsix- no noticeable difference... ran great before and still does. And it's cold here......

That's encouraging as the redline is much easier to source than the Mobil 1 Delvac.

I just had mine done with Amsoil 75-90 & it feels great!

I'm also a Redline guy, in the my EVO I had to mix the 75-90 with some MTL to make the cold shifting nicer. MTL was the ONLY gear lube to use the BMW Trans.

75W90 NS is exactly what their VP of Marketing recommended that I run. I've had it in the car since late June, and it shifts wonderfully..but what do I know from cold?

I too didn't like the feel of the Redline and put Delvac 1 in my G50 - I stock it just for that reason and leave the Swepco 201 for all the earlier trannies.
