At the risk of sounding completely stupid, how does one identify and save to browser favorites the url for a specific thread displayed on the discussion forum?

There are several DIY Rennlist threads that I would like to save to my web browser favorites, but when I click on "Favorites" and then "Add to Favorites" all that gets added to my favorites is the Opening Rennlist Forum web page and not the thread I want to save to my favorites .

I know it's possible because folks post urls for other threads within threads all the time....I did look at the FAQs but didn't see anything I recognized as addressing this question.

Click the number just under the "display mode" drop down box on the right hand of the screen. That will open the post in a new screen that you can save. Just click the link on the upper right to open the entire thread. That's the way I have saved numerous threads & posts in my bookmarks for future reference.

The problem is that you're browsing the forums with that annoying pane on the left, because you navigated thru http://forums.rennlist.com/. Instead, simply navigate thru:
https://rennlist.com/forums/ or
https://rennlist.com/forums/993-forum-58/

so then if the pane on the left is gone, you'll be able to save url's correctly.

That's what I do. I have https://rennlist.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=58 in my favorites, so I never go through the front page anymore. I hate frames.

I actually have it as a button on my address bar. One-Click rennlisting, baby!!
