Newbie Question on M030s
I did a search but there is SO much info that I could not find specifics to my case. Forgive me if I missed it!
I am looking at a car (993 TT) and the owner states he has "the M030 suspension" but he can't tell me what exactly it contains as the PO put it on.
He replaced the shocks last year with the "OEM Monroes". Ugh.
So does he mean that is has the M030 springs (which are lower sport OEMs, right?) and the stock OEM shocks? Basically a cheap "sport" setup?
The car appears in pictures to have a slightly lower ride height.
I will confirm all of this at PPI but wanted to get my mind in the right place (read: do I want to put on PSS9s).
Thanks!

From where that car is suspension-wise, to what it would be with PSS9's or PSS10's is a monumental change for the better. The single best modification to the weakest part of these cars, IMHO. Absolutely upgrade the suspension. You'll never regret it. Just make sure it's done right. Enjoy.

During the PPI have them check the sway bars. If it's a complete M030 the front sways are 22mm and the rears are 20mm.
If the sways are 19mm front and 17mm rear, they put on the M030 (ROW) springs on and didn't upgrade the sways. IMHO that could very well happen with someone who goes to the trouble of replacing US springs to get ROW height but botchs the shock part of the deal.
