Carnewal P93 M033 Suspension Package with Bilstein HD shocks - setup 2
Happy New Year everyone!!!
I am planning to do my first mod of the year lowering my 09/94 C4 Cab (with 6.000 miles) with Carnewal setup 2 http://www.carnewal-europe.com/cpx_p93105.htm
With the Euro at $1.50 the kit gets close to $2,000... is there any other good kit available in the US for our cars?
I like the possibility of changing the height of the car as this kit allows us to.... but would like to know if there are other options in the market to get the same quality kit for the 993.
Bellow is a picture of my car with the SUV style height... I am doing this for the look and not for cornering... it is a Cab and has 4 wheel drive to protect me from myself
TIA,
Freddy

I'm just wondering...doesn't someone in the U.S., like Viper Bob for example, have the same suspension choices, but without the hefty exchange rate premium? Gert is great of course, but methinks you could find this set-up in the states for less. Search is your friend. Good luck!

Beautiful Cab Freddy.
Love the silver/blue combo and the RS Speedlines set off the look perfectly. Please post pics after your suspension upgrade.
Was 6,000 miles a typo ??? You gotta go drive that car !!! She's too sexy to keep cooped up in a garage.

Personally I used Gert but the $ to Euro was much stronger then.
I believe Steve W. (insert detail when brain fart passes) also supplies the parts. I would give him a call.

I recently received the complete ROW M030/Bilstein HD kit from Viper Bob. He shipped the kit quickly and provided excellent customer service after the transaction.

Absolutely contact Viper Bob! He has priced this system out for me for my C2 cab and is very competitive, especially with all his add-ons and help (which is priceless).
If you have the car in FL, why not drive up to Tampa and have Bob do the install too?

I just received the the same setup plus the front and rear stabilizer bars from ViperBob for about what Gert is charging for just the springs and shocks. Not sure what Viper Bob's price is for just the HD's and M030 springs, but I'm sure it's better given the current exchange rate. Certainly worth a call. I believe his company is an RL sponsor - Vortex Motorsport in Tampa.

Viper Bob's complete ROW M030/Bilstein HD kit includes the 22 mm front and 20 mm stabilizer bars. Given the current exchange rate, I paid less for the kit that Bob sells than I would have if I had ordered the same kit from Gert.

Are you that recently replied reading his question correctly? He is asking about MO33 not MO30. From Carnewal's website:
What's the difference between the M033 and the M030 springs?
The M030 is a sport sport suspension. The M030 springs will make the ride lower and sportier while the M033 springs will lower the car but it will remain comfortable.
So I think his question is: Is their a domestic supply that sells the M033 springs packaged with Bilstein's HD's?

That is it Mark!
I am looking for the M33 kit wit the adjustable Bilstein shocks.
I want to get rid of the SUV height keeping the same comfortable ride as I have now.
The car is in Brazil and the streets are bumpier there than here.
The car is a Cabrio and a stiffer ride is not my goal...
Hi Keith, 6,000 miles is not a typo... I do not get the chance of driving it there as much as I would like to... I am the first owner and after almost 14 years I know it is a keeper... so I try to do the mods that makes it more special for my taste with no hurry... I searched the RS wheels for many years (got them brand new for a good value with the help of a great fellow Rennlister), and now some few sets are in the market at a hefty price... and I agree that they are a perfect fit to any 993...
BTW I never saw a WB with the RS wheel set... please post some pictures of yur car!!!
I will ask Gert if we can get a group buy for the M033 setup 2 and in case positive will try to get enough buyers here at Rennlist
