Attn. Riv. Blue lovers! 39K cab $35K in L.A.

Seems like a fair deal. Isn't this one of "ours"?

Pretty color. "Upgraded Wheels and Tires" are not pictured if they are present.

I noticed the same thing, unless those are really the 18" versions of the standard 17's.

I liked the split grill. :)

I thought 16" wheels were standard on 993's. I've seen two 95's with 16" wheels, not sure about later cars.

If so, the 17" would be an upgrade I guess.

I don't think that was riv blue, by the way.

dcdude 01-07-2008 09:46 PM

OK, Mexico Blue is my next best guess. Either way, the ad is back up...

Ad is back up at $38,000.

I saw a very similar 993 at the TRE New Years fun run (see photo) and the owner confirmed riviera blue. The ad looks very much identical in color.

If anyone is seriously interested in that car feel free to contact me first.

In short:
Mileage is 43K, not 39K as ad says.
Pics in ad are not current
I think the "Mint Condition! 6 speed" text in the ad actually refers to the condition of the 6 spd
There is more. PM me if you want additional info.

Oh, and color is Blue Turquoise, per the paint code on the sticker.

Leander 01-08-2008 12:55 AM

Looks like Turquoise to me.

Was that car sitting over on Autotrader forever? Sure Mark, whenever you're recovered from your trip I'd love to hear what's up. I've got waaaay too little time to go on wild goosechases. But as you found, how many blues (of whatever variation are out there)?

Not many ... here's a few pics of my wife's riviera blue cab.

I keep thinking that Riviera has a bit more "green" in it, like the old "robin's egg." Anyone have an idea what the heck I'm talking about?

here is a back to back comparison of Blue Turquoise (left) and Riviera Blue (right)
snagged this from a previous thread a while back.
