Yesterday I was heading back from seeing some family in the Encino area and was on my way to my next holiday destination. I rolled onto HWY 101 North and as luck would have it I pulled right in behind two incredible vehicles (sorry no pics). They were a blue colored late 60's or early 70's Camaro SS that was obviously blown. Full cage, suspension, wheels, motor....you name it. Totally sweet and definately on my "if I won the lottery" list. The other was a dark green Cobra with the number 55 on the sides in white circles. I suspect it was the real deal. I followed them for about 10 to 15 miles until my exit in Westlake Village but even as sweet as those (much more expensive) rides were, I still was loving my 993. These cars are just another true classic IMO as I'm sure you will all agree. Throw your pick of Ferrari in there and I'd say that would probably round out all I've ever wanted in a car collection. Ok, prob would add in a few more P-cars. But money no object, a 993 would still be in the collection. This rides a keeper! I don't need any presents. I have what I want....great place to live, my health, and my 993! Happy Holidays!

Muscle cars are great and I really like taking the 'Cuda for a cruise. The brute power of a 475hp V8 and a 4 speed are a lot of fun (and to be respected). However, a car like this has limited use. I put on less than 500 miles in 2 years.
That and a 25+ year longing for a Porsche will likely end this spring/summer. I've considered keeping both but we will see.

I'd hang onto it if you have the means. Old muscle cars like yours are very cool and likely to appreciate over time. Good luck with the p-car purchase.

After going for a ride in a friend's F360, I felt the same way. F-car was a glorious sounding beast, but I felt fine getting back into my little 993!
No other car on the planet has the heritage and history our cars (i.e., 911's) do.
