Outstanding. What is the HP/Tq? Did you purchase the engine new or sorted from another car?

I have no idea what the HP/TQ figures are? After the winter the car is going in the shop for some fine tuning with a dyno afterwards. I will post it here than.

I bought the car with the 3.8 engine already installed.
The car is a one of a kind Vesuvius narrow body C2 with the X51 option. It came like this from the special wishes department.

Thanks

Thanks. I originally planned on getting a 997 but just love the 993. I had a 996 and came to that from a heavily modded '78 911SC Euro and was honestly disappointed. I felt it lost a lot of the mechanical feel to the car. I've driven a 997S and they're super quick and handle terrifically, but still a different feel. I essentially want to improve on the 993 along the same lines as yours - albeit differently - perhaps a blower to compliment it. I no sooner than finished modding my M3 and realized it was futile. I put near $40k in it since mid-2006 including a complete CF interior, complete suspension as well as Brembo monobloc 6 pot 380mm (f), and 4 pot 345mm (r). I'm going through this forum and planning out my 993 project. The X51 engine is outstanding and a great platform. I'm hoping to find a nice "S" model this Spring. Thanks for the information!

gonz911: You are welcome, if you need more info let me know.

The eagle: It happened in Brussels after a dinner with a nice woman ;-)

delanobe, what's the "grille" material inside teh bumper openings? Could you take better pictures of it and post it? Looks interesting. How is it installed?

It's the standard Turbo bumper, normally the grill is black plastic but on my car it's painted arctic silver.

Very nice! Tell use about the wheels, I don't recall ever seeing the 964T3.6 variety on a 993. Are they 8&10? o/s?

Bill: The wheels are 8x18 front and 10x18 rear. It was a VERY tight fit but it fits like a glove and looks ok I think.

Vhanzon: Now you know why I dind't want to sell you my car

Thanks

Hehe, yeah I know you should keep it for sure. I have anotherone coming in pretty soon it seems. Keep lurking and you'll see pictures . Are those RH's? 8x18 ET52 and 10x18 ET54? You like these better than the hollows? I like 'em both . Once again very tasteful mods.

Really well-done, delanobe! The Rennlist sticker looks cool; what font are you using?
