I'd definitely be in for meeting in SA and going with people who know the neighborhood

There are a few coming from SA. Maybe meet in SA somewhere and head up?
Sounds good.

How about the SA folks meeting at the Red Robin at The Forum at 7:30AM on the 19th? The Forum is the newer mall on the NE quadrant of Hwy 1604 and I-35. Red Robin is a restaurant in the mall area and is easily spotted.

If folks can show up by 8:30/45 we can all get maps and finish oggling the cars in time to leave promptly at 9:00. If that time doesn't work for out-of-town folks, speak now so we can adjust.

Meeting place: Starbuck's Coffee at 71 and Bee Caves
12400 State Hwy 71 West
It is located just east of the intersection of 71 and Bee Caves.

Oh, I'm envious of you folks...Austin and its immediate vicinity were my stomping grounds years ago.
Being 1000 miles away now would sure make it a trick to participate...but I'm tempted, believe me!

DFW Folks - Are any of you going to Austin Friday evening? If work does'nt get in the way, I think I will skip the early morning drive on Saturday.

can I come? I am 993-less right now, but could drive the Audi RS4 or the 66 '912, while I am in this state of purgatory....

Bee Caves is old stomping ground for me, beautiful part of far west Austin... has become very congested, but still beautiful...

(ps. Howdy, I would plan to go Fri night)

mmmm.... Coopers in Llano... do you still pick your meat off the pit directly outside? IMO the 2nd best BBQ place in TX (second only to Louie Muellers in Taylor)
