I like my basket handle too. A few months ago my wife was following me in a rain storm (yes, I drive it in the rain--its German) and she said the handle made seeing my brake lights much easier.

Didn't like it at first but it grew on me. Now, I dig it and I agree with a previous post that it represents a small group of 993 models and I'm proud to be part of (excluding targa's and cabrio's).
