One good thing about owning the 996... they are so plain and non-exotic I park and valet anywhere. Valets aren't really interested in driving them either, too many on the road.
When I go to Lawry's resturant in Berverly Hills they still always park it up front with all them fancy expensive cars...

The irony is: San Franciscans mostly do not valet their cars; they would take a cab to busy/hard to park areas. It's the suburbanites (East Bay/Peninsula/Marinites, our "bridge & tunnel") that go to North Beach on a weekend and valet their cars (as seen in the clip).
For the record, I will only valet my Lexus at private/exclusive functions, not at restaurants, but, as allill said, I'd rather drive around for a half hour looking for a spot with the Porsche...

Not exactly true. Waivers tend not to mean anything. Furthermore, them not taking responsibility doesn't equate to them being able to do anything they want. Even if you couldn't hold them responsible in civil court, the BBB could sanction them or they could be tried with criminal charges.
