Top End in Southeast
I am soon in need of a clutch job and a top end. I live in Columbia, SC and was wondering if there were any recommendations on shops. I am willing to drive a reasonable distance to get high quality work. I was thinking Autometrics in Charleston. Any other suggestions?

top end repair
I am in Cola too and have used Doc's Grrrage in Lexington for over 15 years (359-6606). Never had the least problem and Les Stabler has always been great to work with. Admittedly never needed a top end (though one is imminent!), but everything they've done for me has been done right -- including clutches on my old 85 Carrera.
On the other hand I've also used Protech in Greenville for suspension stuff (when Pete Chase was running the show) and was really pleased with the work they did too... don't know the new owners but have heard good things.
