I'm back
Aloha. I am back from Hawaii and have a lot of rennlist reading to do. I saw a total of three 993's while on Oahu ( arctic coupe, arctic targa & guards cab with some mods). I would love to have my car out there with me some time.
I put some panoramic shots together, kinda sloppy, but you get the gist of it.

welcome back ya bum
you missed some funny stuff...
A hint on one: search on RARE turbo spoiler.... then mix up your favorite drink, sit back and enjoy the ride

Nice photos.
As much as it would be nice to have a Porsche in Hawaii it would be awful not being able to drive it much with their speed limits and keen cops.... especially that nice piece of open road over the hills from the NE back to Waikiki.

I have been thinking of moving to Hawaii when my obligations are finished here. Figured I'd just sell the turbo before I went. I've been to Maui many times and there is nowhere to drive a turbo like I would want. I'd be living in a condo with bars on the windows.

Getting your car over to the islands is as simple as strapping it to a vehicle pallet and rolling it onto a 747-F through Passport FEDEX auto transport. I was over on Maui in September and they still hadn't sorted out the fate of the Hawaiian Ferry dispute with the environmentalists so getting from island to island may have to wait. The highway from the Airport to Napili and Waikola would be extremely fun to drive as of course the turns and switchbacks on the road to Hana. If you're ever on Maui stop by the Gazebo Restaurant in Napili for breakfast, get there early as the line for a table will get pretty long.
