Angry Light theft

It seems that the local London thieving little s**ts have worked out how easy it is to steal the corner lights and flog them on ebay or similar. I have noticed one or two poor souls that have fallen victim to this and I don't plan on being of them if I can help it! I have already had one set of mirrors stolen and it's a royal PITA.

What do you think to using security screws to fix them in (i.e. needing a special screw driver to loosen them)? What size do I need to try and find? Has anyone had any expierience with this?

Whatever head you go for, the screw itself is a 4.8 x 25 ST
Perhaps a torx head would do it or an allen?

the only problem with doing that is that if they get frustrated, they may try to use a pry bar or something else that could cause far more damage. good luck

True, but I'd like to think it'd be a deterant, they could break the lamp in the process if they try too hard.
