this has been mentioned previously but once again, all US ride heights are the same. normal, M030, turbo.

Yes, installing RoW M030 springs will lower the car from any US suspension

W/ oem suspensions the front has a very narrow range of height adjustment via threads, the back is only adjustable by changing springs and/or spacer shims.

these are RoW M030 springs on oem Monroes.

Here's a table of all the different street ride heights

tjangi,

Good choice to lower it. Mine has HDs with M030, and the improved handling easily more than makes up for the bumpiness, in my opinion. My car is pretty darn low, but could not imagine going to a much higher ride.

Dean

I like your ride height or should I say low...

I am hoping to have mine lowered by this weekend. If I do, I will definetely post another pic. I am also thinking of seat mod, eg spring under the seat like the truck seat to absorb any bumpy rides

The springs for the turbo RoW M030 are stiffer than those for the NA RoW M030 cars. I too found the HD/M030 combo too stiff when I installed it on my cab and it was because Pelican sold me the turbo springs instead of the proper NA springs. IIRC, turbo sprins have purple markings whereas NAs have brown markings but do a search to confirm. You may want to take a look and check what you've got. I doubt Bob would sell you turbo springs but mistakes can be made. If you do have the NA RoW M030 proper springs, your only solution is to go to M033 springs if you want a softer ride.

Just a note of caution - my 95 was VERY low til I got it aligned - we had to raise it up to between RoW standard and sport to get it back to a factory camber setting on both sides (1 degree, 10 or 15 minutes I believe is what we ended up with). My suspension looked good, but who knows it it's tweaked - the moral of the story is that you might have to sacrifice tire wear if you go really low.

The car had about 2.5 degrees each side before we started and I've been driving it every day - it was hell on tires....

My car currently has 2.5 deg neg camber all the way around with no apparent side effects but then again, Jae Lee @ Mirage Intl. set it up, so it cannot get much better than that!

The reason I used more spring rate than factory MO30 was a propensity for the car to oversteer in medium speed tight corners, I upped the front springs to 350lbs & added a 21mm front sway bar to help dial out some of that. The factory MO30 can get you as low, but it won't handle quite as well as what I have installed.

ZP,

Do you have camber plates up front?

For RoW, M030 and turbo fornt springs are the same marked orange and green as in my pic above.

in the back the turbo is stiffer but no lower than M030, the M030s are marked brown(again in the pic). the turbos are marked red

I find my PSS9 setup to be smoother over small bumps than stock when set on "9" all the way around. The dual springs make a BIG difference!

I am also confused along with SPIKES. I have just had ROW M030 with Bilsteins installed. It lowers the car about an inch, the ride is firmer but I would not say STIFF - just nice and FIRM. And it looks just great. Haven't aligned it yet, so have no final say about handling improvements, but assuming much better than the 50k mile standard shocks and US springs I had before. Looking at tjangi's car, I would say he has not intalled the setup correctly, unless he got US 030 springs, which are indeed a bit high. The ROW spirngs are an inch lower.

I had my RoW M030 w/ the HD Bilsteins dropped about 1 1/4".
Though the ride is a little firmer, the handling improvements trump the bumps.
