Great guy, superb driver and team player. It's time for another British F1 World Champion.

It looks like he has a decent shot. He just needs to finish something like 4th or so I think. I have been cheering for him all year. Will miss Indy next year...

He's been good in the best car in the field but a great guy & a team player?!

Have you watched any F1 this year?

He complained for nothing (Monaco), didn't obey the team rules (Hungary) and screwed up his team mate, (screwed up with drivers behind him (China) etc. There's more but let's just put the latest, screwed up Kimi's quali (Brazil)...

What, no Kimi fans .... ?
He was my pick at start of the season, and there's still a chance for the title.

Watched almost every F1 race since about 1973. If we start nit-picking about drivers we would be here all day about each and every one.

LEWIS... LEWIS... LEWIS...

Well it's about to start. How exciting is it to have 3 drivers in the running on the last race of the season?

Dear god this is painful to watch...
he's back in the pits, and I think they're losing more time with the soft tyres than they gained...

WHY CAN'T THE BRITISH EVER DO SOMETHING SIMPLY?!?!?!

Better Kimi than nagging Fernando IMO. Kimi's been one of the best drivers out there in recent years and has been plagued with mechanical problems time and time again. Add that to having to race Schumi week in week out, he deserves the title this time.

Lewis was way too impatient ... and cracked under pressure. I was hoping Fernando would pull it out but Kimi is a deserving champion.

I am hoping that Fernando will land at a competitive team so we can continue the fight next year ...
