Some RL empirical evidence on just how gorgeous the 993 is...
Checked the "Who has the Most Beautiful 9xx Here?" in the other forums to see how many views (stats reflect when I viewed for this survey) those threads have.
996 = 4,318 views
997 = 18,967 views
964 = 55,203 views
and the WINNER...
993 = 101,021 VIEWS
996 guys can talk all they want, I find their carping similar to a guy whose married Janet Reno, and claims, she cleans, cooks, and does laundry better than Nicole Scherzinger!!! Uh....I'll take Nicole fellas!!! and hire a maid!!

The best place to be at Sold both of my 996 gt2 and 3 since I rarely visit the 996 gt board (6 times the most). But I kept all 3 993s
. Plus we are more cooler here

Was there ever a doubt!!!!! After the 993 there's only two cars worthy: 997 GT3 and GT3 RS. You'll never hear of a 996 in a few years. They'll be like the K car and the Aerostar.

I had one of those moments with my car last night. You all know it, been there, done that: I came out from a store, and there it was, posing under the flourescent street lights. WOW!! It'll be 5 years in 2 weeks of a never-ending love affair!!

It has only been about 3 months since I got mine and I still make audible noises when I walk into the garage! Passed an early 996 the other night and stiil can't believe what Porsche did to it. Everyone makes mistakes but geez......

....they're comparing rat droppings to pearls. And besides, the greatest indictment of the 996 and endorsement of the 993 comes from Porsche itself...in the form of the 997!
